Abstract

|
The authors have performed brachial cerebral angiography on 12 children and 3 adults during the past four years and concluded that this technique is an easy and safe method. Various methods previously for vertebral angiography, while giving good diagnostic films, have been technically difficult to perform or fraught with danger to neighboring structures. The authors feel that the modification of the technique, originally described by Gould et al, has consistently given diagnostic vertebral and total cerbral angiograms(except the lower part of the circle of willis on the left side) and without morbidity or mortality in the series presented.
